I have a new key and complete assembly. I need to know the %26quot;trick%26quot;of how to remove the old one.How do I change the ignition switch on my 77 Blazer?
The key usually has to be in acc or run position then there is a small pin you push to release the cylinder. It can usually be accessed from a small hole on the bottom of the column. You should see the round pin on the new cylinder, that will give a idea of where to look and what size tool to use.
