on some cars you have to put the key in position 1,then push a pin in the side of the lock/or remove an 8mm nut...been a while since i took one out of a polo.

How do i change the ingition switch in my 96' vw polo?
... Ive removed all the steering wheel housing %26amp; have been told to look for a screw on the ignition before the barrel and basically the 5 pin switch should just be swapped...... HELP! - Im useless at this sort of thing!How do i change the ingition switch in my 96%26039; vw polo?
