My 2000 ford explorer starts fine and will stay on, once u put it in drive, it shuts off?

why would my truck stay on and idle fine but once u change the gear to drive, it will shake a bit and then shut off? the engine and tranny are fine, i've got it checked. someone mentioned fuel sensors blocked, or the ignition switch. any ideas? and about how much would it be?My 2000 ford explorer starts fine and will stay on, once u put it in drive, it shuts off?
More than likely the Idle Air Control Motor is bad.
